Dr. George Njenga, founding Dean of Strathmore Business School, Nairobi
Dr. George Njenga is the founding Dean of Strathmore Business School and the Director of the Center for Sustainability Leadership at Strathmore University. He is also a senior lecturer at Strathmore University in Strategy, Political Governance and Leadership. He has a PhD (hons) in Political Philosophy from the University of Navarra, Spain. He holds a Master in Governance and Culture of Institutions from the same university and a Master in Business Administration, and is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya. Dr. Njenga has initiated several projects at Strathmore University. He partnered to set up a successful School of Finance and Banking in Kigali, Rwanda. He has also worked as a senior auditor at Ernst and Young, Kenya, and was a founding board member of the Association of African Business Schools. He serves in several board memberships and is a founding member of Pacis Insurance Company in Kenya, Co-founder of Ongoza Foundation, Founding Director of Villgro Kenya; he engendered the establishment of the Institute of Healthcare Management and the Strathmore Institute of Public Policy and Governance. Dr. Njenga is also one of the Kenyan board members of GOAL, Ireland (Kenya Chapter).
