Mr. Rasmane Ouédraogo, Poverty-Environment Initiative Coordinator, Burkina Faso
Mr. Rasmane Ouédraogo has worked in the Ministry of the Environment of the Green Economy and Climate Change Burkina Faso since 1986. Within the Permanent Secretariat of the National Council for Sustainable Development, Mr. Ouédraogo has been the Director of the Division of Environmental Policies and Coordinator for the Poverty-Environment Initiative Burkina Faso since 2009. At the Rio+20 summit, Mr. Ouédraogo served as a negotiator on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 agenda. Mr. Ouédraogo is a national focal point sustainable development, consumption and production, as well as a focal point on green economy in Burkina Faso.
