The aim of this Nexus Dialogue isto contribute to a common understanding of ways in which the environment, peace and security nexus can contribute to achieving SDG 16 as well as to see how SDG 16 can improve addressing environment, peace and security challenges. The dialogue intended to connect the dots to allow the policy makers from international organisations and states representatives to take effective action. To facilitate this, the outcome of the dialogue was captured in 10 key messages to guide policy advice, future research, partnerships, and advocacy. The outcome may also contribute to the review of SDG at the 2019 High-Level Political Forum in July.
